One of my favorite parts of this game is how neatly it connects the prologue and the final level. in the prologue as you're racing to save Optimus, there is a lot of shit going on around you that you run by. in the final level you get to see those bits in a lot more detail.

From Soundwave, Jetfire, Bruticus, Jazz, Bumblebee in the beginning, to choosing between The carrier of the Matrix or the Champion of Kaon this chapter while I have never personally played this game, is one of the best closers to a game I’ve ever seen. The shift between both factions is stunning, the battle between freedom and tyranny both desperately struggling for resources and a grudge that’s lasted for countless eons. The finale especially just Optimus and Megatron just phenomenal, one fighting for to restore his planet to its former glory, the other fighting for the right of all sentient beings, one standing, the other fallen. The ark falling apart during their fight was also similar to how their conflict drove Cybertron to its demise, only to end with both of their ships being torn apart never to be seen again. I want a remastered of this game so that I can relive the joy I missed out on in 2012, until that day, Till all are one.

The Skywalker And devastation, personally, is an extremely close second. I mean that fight would’ve taken the number one spot but after watching G1, (including all the episodes of the original American show and watching the movie plus reading most of the comics) i have to conclude that this battle is a perfect reinvoked and awesome rendition of the final battle from the original movie while retaining the necessary violence needed to raise stakes and keep the player on the edge of their seats from the live action movies. You get off of school. Go to game stop. Get transformers fall of cybertron. You go home. You boot up the game. Stay in the main menu listening to the music. You play the campaign and amazed how the game looks. You play all the way until Optimus vs Megatron. You deleted the game after a couple more games came out. Not realizing how good it was. Then…years later. You start to realize and miss everything. But…it’s all gone.

Honestly what i like the most about the final battle between Megatron and Optimus is that its just them. No back up. No airstrikes. No nothing. The two leaders of different sides fighting each other one on one. What makes it even more epic, is that they just keep going, even when the ship is falling apart!

Really wish they would make this soundtrack available for purchase. This and the original "War for Cybertron" are fantastic, and really capture the world, the fun and the tone of the 80's property. Especially the G1 movie. A digital release, at the very least, would be appreciated. I'm sure the artist wouldn't mind it either.
