He and his gf used to take applications He has rules such as "coaching/backseating is allowed until the final 8 (last 2 days), just don't be excessive with it" What exactly does that mean? 50% of games need to be on stream, meaning they can get away with someone else boosting them for the other 50% Where is the competitive integrity? They have to put "!BoxBoxBootcamp" in their stream title. Riot's money is going toward advertising a streamer that doesn't play TFT

I just remember him talking about it a couple of times in his last bootcamp streams where he shared a lot of behind the scenes. Says riot now handles who gets in the bootcamp, feel free to check his vods but i got a feeling you wont bother since it disagrees with what you're trying to imply about him. Lol

@@akosiely That's new information to me. I can't believe it 100% without checking, but I have no reason not to trust you. It makes sense that Riot would do that. There was however a point that Riot was providing funds and he was still taking applications. If that's no longer true then my stance is updated. That's not why I wouldn't check his vods. I can't stand to watch someone like him. There's a reason I only have 600 channel points in his channel. I didn't avoid being a boxbox tier player by not learning anything or deluding myself. Set 11 was my least favorite set an hour into PBE, after a few days it was my third least favorite, it's stayed that way. Maybe boxbox can be my set 11. If I only implied anything, I meant to state it outright. Even if it's different now, he was doing it previously, so it doesn't quite disagree anyway. It only implies Riot has more control over the event now.

Reckoning was my first set! I'm excited to see the revival ❤ The charms seem fun, people are already comparing them to encounters which i think is wrong, but I understand the dislike of rng. I like the sound of it though! Let's hope the variety keep every game... magical 😏

I'm excited to see how charm's play, as opposed to everyone else here who's just instantly complaining about how they expect them to feel. I understand you can envision a world where you don't hit something perfect and your opponent does, but that's ultimately how the game works. Sometimes your opponent 2 stars their 4 cost on stage 3, and once in a blue moon, YOU highroll something like that. They didn't make them sound insanely impactful, a few seconds of CC or CC immunity can be fight winning, but your opponent won't know who they're fighting until the late game, at which point you also have the opportunity to counter them with YOUR charm.

@@AidenIsElite I dont think so. You can't play around encounters, they show up randonly for everone at the same time, you have no agency. With charms, you get to pick and choose what is the best for you at that moment. I think it has a way bigger skill expression

A video starting with Mortdog cant be bad i love it and i love the new set ! But i must add i miss the times that every set had their unique feature like reckoning had radiant items, arcane set had augments that was unique compared to older sets, or dragons that costs 2 slots and expensive but they were strong ! Todays sets doesnt feel that much they feel like same features from older sets but still ill give it a try ofc 😁

Um... sets still have set mechanics. Set 8 had threats and hero augments, set 9 introduced portals, set 10 had headliners (reworked chosen from set 4) and dynamic music, set 11 has encounters, set 12 will have charms.

Yeah charm doesn't feel like a very inspired mechanic. Hell, HS Battegrounds has had that mechanic (temporary spells) for a long time. I was hoping for something more transformative but well I hope the set ends up being fun.
