@@ukno918 i mean dishsoap did a lot of things "better" man... he played a basically perfect birthday present tempo game into a full capped lillia board, and was able to hit naut 3 like a beast (with his hp lead from playing tempo) when it counted most . obviously him hitting a naut every roll is lucky, but you cant be a tft world champ without high rolling at least a little bit. most of these world games, dishsoap played out of his mind and showed what perfect tft could look like. he more than deserves the world champ title W glaze

@@ukno918 He chose his line well, win streaks the majority of the game to save hp, then when Binteum didn't roll he knew Binteum had a Hwei lock in his shop so Dishsoap gave up on rolling for Hwei 3 to go for Naut 3 instead as his win con. Also yeah it was a bit lucky but is hitting 5 Naut at LV10 really that outrageous? The only reason you say "this shit is rng" is because you suck at the game and can't see the skill part

I think he was trying to predict a Lilia position swap. Wouldn’t make sense to put the Annie on the complete opposite side when a nautilus is gonna be in the way right? Pretty sure if he flips his board Annie walks right into Lilia and Hwei. Either that or Galio stalls just long enough for naut to walk over and do what happened

so many stuff going on, the 2nd to last round, Dish stacked left frontline to pull the annie away, the naut last second stunned both sylas and galio that were on lillia last round that hwei healing up the naut with archangel stacking and redemption just enough to keep naut , the opponent's sylas dashed into naut skill, the game hit overtime AFTER annie casted (if Annie casts again in overtime it's over) Damn what a hype ending

TFT is too much RNG to have a real competitive world championship.. It was a good example here, those extra lucky rolls are crazy... I'm a high elo tft player, and I can tell there is a skill cap to tft, once you know everything about the macro, it's all about luck. 2 players doing 10 rolls, one getting 2 units lvl 2 and the other 0 makes the whole difference, and there is no skill to that, just pressing a button and hoping for the best. Dishsoap deserved this win because of his track, not this singular performance, it's funny to watch, but that's about it.

First of all, AMER(icas) was the worst region by far at this tournament besides dishsoap, their AVP over days 1 and 2 were 4.9, and they had 5 players in the bottom 8. So Frodan was correct in his prediction, even though soap won worlds they were still the worst region on average. Secondly, no matter how you look at it, saying that everyone talking in the vid "shit on Dishsoap's Birthday Present pick" is way too harsh. They were simply questioning it, which is fair because it is a tough decision. To spin that into saying that they all were shitting on him and gave up on him is wild. Thirdly, taking birthday present might have been a misplay and couldve gone much worse if he didnt hit garen from it. You could argue that he has to take risks if he wants to get 1st and win worlds, which is definitely fair, but you could also argue that march of progress is a much more straightforward and realistic win con. You can tell from the amount of time dishsoap spends on the augments and that he hovered over march of progress that he was seriously considering both. Either way, we will never know how the game wouldve went with march, and birthday present paid off, but its also very possible he wouldve won with march as well. Fourthly, calling kurum a pissrandom is crazy
