@@Axinie I know, but sometimes Hua Cheng REALLY needs to consider other people’s feelings otherwise, there will be someone who will have no choice, but to pull out all the jabs to point at him. Also, dunno if you know, I am working on a AO3 story, still writing in Google Docs and there will be a point where my Protagonist, he will jab at not only at Hua Cheng, but also Xie Lian, Mei Nianqing and Feng Xin. He isn’t trying to be rude or mean, but he’s only saying all this from his experiences. It is also a developing process for Fengqing, especially when Feng Xin is the main cause of the whole shit that went down like literally…

When it comes to other ships with the main couple I don’t care, unless it’s something actually cursed like jun wu x xielian. Also, shipping others with the main couple doesn’t mean people don’t ship the main couple. At the end of the day its just ships and I don’t think there’s a reason for people to be so pressed about it. A few weeks ago I seen someone get so mad about a ship that they started sending the creator death threats😭
