I looked at the 550, 575 & 599. I ended up with a 599 Factory Manual, it costed significantly more but I think its a better investment. Furthermore, you feel a tremendous power difference between the 599 and the predecessors. Last Ferrari V12 with a manual, Pininfarina design, Enzo engine, only 30 made, it doesn't get better.

Another excellent video Tom with another nice fella!! I really do agree with your feeling on new vs older cars as far as maintenance costs go and as you say usability on UK roads, much more fun per mile. It seems Richard has made some very shrewd/lucky choices over the years but I don't think you are that far behind as regards the choices you are making now for the future with your cars, Good Luck to ya mate!!!!

Love the 911 50th, but that version has the glass pano roof which really spoils the look, they are stunning with a hard sunroof option.
