They're just bad people that's all. To be fair, if you don't want to be griefed - go invite only or passive mode. There's next to no reason to be in a public lobby unless you're looking to do freemode pvp. A lot of stuff can be done solo or private. Even Casino heist requiring more than one player - it's all done in a private lobby with no other player around to kill you with a Mk2.

As someone who hasn't played GTA:O since 2016 and started recently again for around 2 months, I highly appreciate your time and effort to explain everything, it was instant sub for me. I have to go against the above comment. The Cayo hiest CAN be soloed and even if you only go for the base item of the heist your still going to laoe out with AT LEAST 700k or more (well over $1Mif you go for things outside the compound doing solo). The sub is required for the Cayo heist start up each time.

I'd say LS Drug Wars was a game changer for low levels and noobs because it gives them a free business and an easy way to make a lot of money so therefore that alone makes LS Drug Wars a good DLC. You also have the stash houses, store robberies, Gerald's cashes and the 25% increase to Last Dose missions which is always a good thing to have.

A couple of months ago I decided to try playing my second character. Starting at level one, one of my mates helped me get a Kosatka but the only way to do the Cayo Heist is to also have a VIP, Night Club or Office base. Otherwise you have to do all the set ups for the heist there and then, followed by the heist. Without the VIP etc any mistakes you make or the game going down (which mine does frequently, and it's not a connection issue as I have over 300 mbps) the game will not save and anything you do has to be repeated. TGG, you need to start from Level One with absolutely nothing. That is seriously hard without any help.

Here's the thing. Kosatka is a fun thing to own. But I feel like the CP heist is not worth it. At least not as worth as it was back when. You can do the VIP/Dr. Dre contract a lot faster and with a shorter cool-down, and always get guaranteed $1,000,000 all for yourself, without cuts to Imani/Franklin. And once you get used to it it can be done really quick, because you can do all the missions involved without having to wait at all, once you start the contract. The cool-down, once you finish it, is at most 1 real-time hour, possibly less, but I did not verify it. Plus, every now-and-then the Agency goes double money/RP for a week and you can make a S^&* load of $$ with it (VIP Contract and Security Contracts combined).

Alternate between Dre and Cayo - otherwise you get bored too fast and GTA is no longer fun to play.

@@minthouse6338 Honestly I just alternate between Contract/Security/Passive income collection/Sales. The occasional mission or 2 from the ones that I can solo. To each their own I suppose though. I did Cayo once just to experience it, but it is too tedious for me even before the nerfs...

1:42 it's an RPG (Rocket-Propelled Grenade) and as grenades go its main use is to spread shrapnel to injure/kill the opposition. That's why you won't see big fiery explosions with grenades, rocket-propelled or not.

If you join the perico heist and the leader quits you will sometimes be placed into a kosatka without needing to own it. It behaves just like the normal kosatka even giving you the prompt to become a ceo or mc leader to start the heist. Just like all other interiors, the kosatka is stored under the map and there is a job bookmark created for job warping used in the speedrun that would place you in the sub. I haven't tested but theoretically, you could start prepping Cayo Perico from level 1.

It happened to me last month and the auto shop too with the contracts. I don't have an auto shop and that annoying Sessanta says I unlocked a mission at my non existant auto shop. Don't reckon you can start prepping anything though as the game eventually knows you don't have the required sub or property.

At first, when you create a new character and just atarting out your 1st day in GTA Online, the game is gonna put you in a public session by default. To avoid this, go to pause menu > Online > Find New Session > Invite Only Session. Of course before this step set your spawn location to your Apartment if you have one, i recommend only the cheapest high end apartment at Del Perro at starting price of 200k

The other easiest money you will ever make is by creating a new character on new gen and whatever money you have left will automatically go into the bank. People who don’t know both characters share a bank account so anything left over after having to spend some of the 4 million rockstar gives you will go into that bank account. So after you do that switch back over to your main character and the money will be there

My current way of making money when I play is the auto shop heist: union depository and the agency payphone hits. makes a comfy 350k or more an hour depending on if you do other stuff like agency contracts or bunker stuff.

I'll say that here for the record: These missions are made way too easy on console using the auto-lock. Barely any skill required. Just get to cover, lock and one-shot the enemies from there. They are way more fun on PC in free aim
