Yes, Dungeons and Dragons is what they play in Stranger Things, and in fact Baldur's Gate is also Dungeons and Dragons, just with some tweaks to the rules for the video game format. So if you've played Baldur's Gate, you have in fact played a version of Dungeons and Dragons!

the funniest part about how self aware all the ducktechtive is soos saying "i predicted that like a year ago". i remember when the show was coming out and by season one i was watching videos on theories about stans twin brother "Stanley", good times Also im glad you picked up on Ford saying "I don't want you to tell anyone about this not even your sister" cause in this episode there's a lot about how similar Ford and dipper are compared to Mable and Stan. Except dipper trusts Mable, he doesn't hold any kind of resentment cause they're able to communicate to each other and they have more of a social life than Stan and Ford did when they were younger, they only had each other and it created a kind of bitterness, like a "if you just listed everything would be better" kind of thinking (i also blame their dad) which obviously isn't the most trusting relationship. Idk im stoned I just think about this show a lot I hope this makes sense at all
