There's actually a minor fan theory that Blueford from part 1 had a very similar stand as Yukako's, given their shared ability to control their hair. there's also a similar theory that Will A. Zeppli's master, Tompetty possessed a similar stand to Hermit Purple (said by Araki to be a visualization of Hamon) and that's how he could see Zeppeli's future.

We've got some crazy episodes on the channel today. Yukako and her stand Love Deluxe. Right off the bat, Yukako's character arc and Stand specifically are based on the album: "Love Deluxe" by Sade. This is an intriguing character with a small yet impactful history in the medium manga/anime. Yukako is THE VERY FIRST yandere. Ever. Upon much discussion and examination of various examples, she is commonly recognized as THE first official yandere to ever exist. This is just another trope that Jojo invented thanks to the mind of Araki and his inspirations. Araki wrote and designed Yukako to be a direct counter to the moe girl trope during her conception for Diamond is Unbreakable. But Araki had inspiration for the chapters of her introduction. Misery, by Stephen King is what this arc of Love Deluxe is solely based on. Araki was very inspired by this novel (later adapted into film) as the base idea for Yukako and Koichi's conflict. There's another thing I should mention. MOST OF HunterxHunter is heavily inspired by JoJos Bizarre Adventure. Such as the character Palm. Togashi, the creator of HunterxHunter and YuYu Hakusho, has openly expressed how inspired he is from Araki and JoJo's massive influence in manga. Yukako is just one example of an influence to HunterxHunter. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a force to be reckoned with. This is something that many new fans of this series may come to realize sooner or later. This series may have been adapted as an anime pretty late. But it's explicitly clear that thanks to Jojo, we have been blessed with so many brilliant manga series from other artists who were moved by Araki's genius. There are so many great manga series out there. It's satisfying to see other artists help each other and give influence for even more ideas. Alright, now I will close this comment off with lyrics from the song "No Ordinary Love" by Sade. This song is from the album "Love Deluxe" itself! I adore this album and I recommend you give the song "No Ordinary Love" a quick listen as you read this lyrics. Try to see some interesting resemblance to Yukako and Koichi's conflict that reflects this song's story. Listening to these songs as I went through Diamond is Unbreakable gave me chills. You truly get to feel a bit of extra meaning by hearing what music inspired these characters to be written this way.
