I think that's one of the reason why many fans didn't like Thriller Bark that much. We just finished crazy arc in Ennies Lobby, and then got a new ship, a new crew, Coby returns, Luffy's father and grandpa revealed, New World got introduced, Ace and Teach fight end in cliffhanger. And then the next 40 episode is Thriller Bark.

The book of devil fruits was mentioned by CP9. They said that the two fruits given to Kaku and Khalifa weren't recorded in the devil fruit encyclopedia. So there will still be plenty of unknown fruits, but some will be recorded presumably because previous people would have used that devil fruit and shown the world what it can do.

Just a thing guys. When you checked were Dragon was if it says Grand Line, it doesnt have to be in the first half. It could also be in the New World. The Grand Line is the whole strip of sea that goes all around the world. The second half is called the New World and the first half also has a name. It wasnt revealed so i wont spoil it, even though its name is not a big deal or relevant to the story. Also Dadan is not Dragon. 2 different persons, but I wont say more cause big spoilers

About Sanjis bounty. You gotta remember that Luffys first bounty was 30 million. Not only was that impressive, but it was turning heads for a first bounty. Zoro first bounty passed luffys at 60 mill. (I think. Can't remember). And now Sanjis surpassed both of theirs. Strawhat pirates are making waves and the world is noticing.

@pedrorodrigez3367 30 mill in the East blue is impressive. Buggy , Arlong and Kreig (particularly Kreig) were the largest threat in the east blue and they were 15-20 mill. Plus I'm sure their bounties were collectively growing through the years. (Remember arlong has been terrorizing 10 years on Nami's home islands.) So I'm sure those weren't their first bounties. Also, I wouldn't compare Robin's bounties to anyone. Since her bounties isn't based off of her strength, but rather the threat she possesses, knowledge wise. She is the last known person who can translate ponoglyphs.

Blackbeard is like this: -massiv hp pool -no defense -takes double damage -attacks usually hit him, cause of gravitational pull - he renders any devil fruit power touching the darkness useless (even the effect of the attack) - he can render invulnerability useless - he can absorb, store and release anything his shadow touches Blackbeard is basically a devil fruit counter, but gets countered himself by brute force or haki. This combination only works, cause blackbeard is tanky as hell. Any other person would have already died cause of the double damage to the body.

East Blue is by and large considered the weakest and most docile of the seas, Arlong was able to be top dog pirate their. And Arlongs bounty, imo, without him paying off the marines to suppress it would have been 40 - 80 million. The average bounty in east Blue is like 1- 5 million or something. The average in the first half of the Grandline is like 10-20 million or something. These are statements by the author btw. Also something I didn't notice my first watch through was how monstrously physically powerful BlackBeard is. Ace took two body shots and basically tapped out. Luffy's OLDER brother, Super Famous New World Pirate on an Emperors ship, said one neck chop almost broke his neck/vertebrea. And one punch made him cough blood. Even for a logia that LOT.

Now that's a really crappy and dissapointing villain , and within an arc that add stuff to the lore and mythos , but not even as much as Bark and others did .
