Can anyone explain gsync/freesync stuff? Is it worth enabling this and cap ur fps 3-5 lower than monitor refresh rate? As I know it will destroy your input lag, but when I tried freesync for myself and lock fps - pubg became smoother, and I actually didn’t saw any input lag increases. Never will understand that sh1t guys, sorry

My guess is that he wanted a general settings guide, didn't go into details about our configs, just general PUBG settings, and as he said, he will be posting monitor+nvidia next week, where you will see free/g-sync 100%.

I strongly disagree… fundamentally TGLTN is a PUBG Pro and that should be his main focus right now. BTS stuff from a vlog perspective would be great, but I think a cameraman and editor should be employed to make sure Tig is on track to keep slaying in game/como while others focus on the other aspect of his brand. This kind of content is great, but shouldn’t take away from como practice.

Can you do one on movement? I think there is one thing that I am missing to compete on that next level. Specifically how to keep your sight centered on your target when you quick peak. For me it bobs way to much to make quick shots around corners.

Thanks for the video. I did question auto reload though as had a few scenarios where I've started the reload animation when I've just wanted to get the hell on out of there after shooting my clip and it slows you down. Solid stuff though and I'll make minor adjustments based off the rest ❤

I remember when im in my high school, I played a lot of Counter-Strike 1.3, and when we got real about it, we ended up playing tournaments. No matter how fast the PC I am playing, I always set my brightness to 99999, 1680, reso it makes flat the screen. I love it. Basically, it will make graphics potato, but the aim is heavenly in my favor. Now I am just chilling. This guy is for me is one of the finest FPS players we only have on the planet. The way he explained everything, I remember those sweat days. Im old, slow reaction. I can't keep up. So I just play PUBG, COD, and Far cries just for needs, not for money. In reality people confuse reaction speeds with general lack of experience as those in their 30s and 40s tend to be much more busier with families and jobs, so they have less time to expend on video games -> get worse. In a way it is true, older you get harder it is to adapt to changes and new challenges

A wee question about changing FOV, I played 103 for the first 5 years of PUBG but recently let AimLab tell me what I should be using from my CSGO settings (90) and f*ck me did it make a difference in consistency. Are you used to adjusting your aim naturally when using a different FOV? Or do you adjust sensitivity settings accordingly to your FOV change? I am an audiophile, i have thousands of dollars of headphones but since i got back into pubg I found IEMs so much better than headphones aswell. My favorite IEMs for pubg out of my collection has been the Shuoer S12. They are fantastic value earbuds and the tuning is perfect for hearing footsteps and direction. for the $80-$120 range they are great

Thanks for these tips Day 2 with these settings you've shown me and implemented. Now, getting more kills and hit markers. I'm a default kinda player but these setting really make a difference. I found a few new options due to a new patch out 25.1. I disabled the option to jump out of the car quickly. Enable gives you a warning you're about to jump out, which would be slower, correct? Also, I still get like a shimer on wire fences and blades of grass which would be good to eliminate! Is there a setting in the Nvidia control panel?

I must have had the ultimate settings for "how to hide your enemies" because even though the game looks like crap now when playing, unlike before where it was really pretty, I can see people like I'm a hacker. If they were bright glowing neon purple I wouldn't see them any easier than I do now. I copied all of Tig's advice in this video blindly and now I see people easily in bushes and everywhere else. Long distances, in windows. Its crazy how good this works. Thank you.

ABOUT IEMS/EARBUDS: Tig is totally right not to get super nice ones, especially if they are your first pair. If you have had issue with earbuds in the past due to not fitting correctly or causing pain after some time, just go cheap and try a few pair. I had to go through about 3 pairs of IEMs before I settled on a pair. I ended up with a $17 dollar pair and now have gone through 3 sets because they fit great and I don't want to experiment again. Just my thoughts. As long as they aren't 5 dollars you are going to have very similar sound performance from a low end earbud to a high end.

I use 1.11 because I use stretch res, I go more.in depth on this in my next video but the short answer is that it makes stretch res feel more natural

Nice video! Just one comment regarding color blind mode and crosshair, specifically the being able to view the dot on the red dot clearly - I cannot see this dot in various situations unless I use Protanopia. Not sure if there is any drawback to using this mode in terms of visibility otherwise ?

Crosshair color is up to you, but green, yellow, and white have better visibility compared to other colors. You get blue blood by using the "protanopia" colorblindness setting.

So tig, from what I remember you removed your space bar so you could press C to crouch without nudging your spacebar, personally its hard for me to use keys like V or C for prone and crouch so I amp them to my mouse buttons: one for crouch and the only for over hip fire ads. Do you think this is inefficient? Also i would like to know what keybinds you usually end up fat fingering or confusing your self with at times, its a weird question but it really would help me figure out where i really want to map everything. I had the same problem. So I bought the cheapest mechanical keyboard, soldered the cables to the arrow keys and made simple switches under my feet. Yes, I control crouching and lying down with my feet. It's playing great. And all this is due to the fact that I have a neurological problem and my fingers are a bit numb :)

@@animalicon3535 the current configuration with two additional switches under the feet is optimal for me. A few months ago I tried to play using the azeron controller. Unfortunately, I couldn't get used to it. Additionally, for leaning in the game, I use the trick with reWASD program . When I press the right mouse button, the A and D keys on the keyboard turn into Q and E :) Such a curiosity.

He took his spacebar off and replaced it with his right ctrl button, then swapped out his tab button for a smaller one too. I copied the space bar bit, and it works great. Takes a little getting used to, but nice to not hit it.

I played on a potato pc where I was in need for any extra fps available for a long time and I can tell you that "sharpen" doesn't have any effect on fps, it just make the borders look better without need of antialiasing, I would recommend it all the time, and I don't see why to turn it off. Maybe you was dropping fps for another reason, test it again. n.n

The sound in PUBG is so horrible. And I understand that you want to have a low volume to not damage your ears. But how in the world do you hear footsteps that are far away. A few years ago people used Voice Meter Banana to compress the sound of PUBG in order to bring sounds closer together. But Im guessing you aren't allowed to do that anymore. Likely you'll be even worse in the beginning. Playing on PC is both blessing and a curse, because the bad players are WAY worse than on console(lower skill floor). On the other hand those who've spent lot of time mastering their craft on PC will be WAAAAAY better(higher skill ceiling).

I run Anti-Aliasing on Ultra because it makes lines and edges smooth. If it's on low, it feels like the lines are moving on my screen, which makes it harder to spot actual moving targets. You mention the game can be pretty smooth without AA, so I wonder if you not have this issue or how you solved it.

EFFECTS! - you should use medium (?) or above - an enemy engaging from a building is MUCH easier to spot, as the room they are in is lit by their muzzle flash and basically turns their window into a strobe light.
