I have 1.5G Avsnza it's13 years old now, wala akong problena gaya ng sinasabe ng iba. Powerful engine talaga at tipid pa. 148,000km n6a milage,battery at gulong lang pinaaitan, oil change at brake pad.. waka namang reklamo mga naging pasengers ko, mas feeling naluwagan pa nga sila kay sa fortuner lalo ba sa 3rd row.. easy to ride, madaling magturn hindi maja abala sa daan..good ground clearance..its a family hauler..

changes from RWD to FWD make avanza more comfortable bur also loses the power driving in uphill road, old generation avanza is also better when driving in broken road

You can get a better equipped 5 seater suv/crossover instead of this. Or better yet try the new honda civic which has adaptive cruise that works in low speeds so it will help alot in edsa rush hour traffic.

Because the 2022 Ertiga 1.5 GL AT (cheaper) seems to be a downgrade, a lot of missing features from the GLX which they said was phased out because it's too close to XL7. I also wonder if the 2022 Avanza is better than the 2022 Ertiga. Thank you!

But really dissapointed sa manual variants which is 1.3L engine sana man lang 1.5L parin sa manuals nila para maka pag compete sila sa ertiga at expander.. planning on getting an mpv and i was really looking forward on this new avanza manuals pero mukang sa Ertiga ako ma uuwi..

all 1.5L gasoline 7 seater wannabes are underpowered. and this atrocity has been going on for years now in the Philippines. i think japanese carmakers are belittling us Filipinos so much that they keep giving us this underpowered engines for a 7 seater capable vehicle. 17km/l they say? that's full of crap. my 1.5 vios batman cant even get that fc with just two passengers in a 400km long drive. and i've driven their latest 1.3vios cvt, i only average 14km/l on an 800km trip. cmon lets be real in a long drive there will be a lot of uphill climbs. its not gonna be just a str8 and flat road like probably how they got their absurd fc figures. i hope the kia carens 1.5 crdi gets launched this year coz that will be a wake up call for all these 7 seater clowns. i dont think filipinos would mind a slightly higher price range for a decent power plant that's capable of hauling 7 asses up Baguio without breaking a sweat or screaming for its life. I just hate gasoline engines when it comes to uphill climbs..im not a fan of screaming engines
