Gem Knights are one of my top 3 favourite archetypes alongside Lightsworn and Dark World. I have so much fun playing with them because they are easy to use, have fast mechanics and are very open to creativity changes. Plus any deck that combines well with Earth attribute is going to be a handy ally to Gem Knights.

The Gem-Knight archetype is really good, too bad it's a bit undereated... People say that fusion deck aren't good, and that it's just a cheap tactic to make weak gems stronger, but I'm sure this deck would not go down at the hands of such people, because it's so much better. But they can go ahead and beat it if they're able... I think they're just mad cause they're single...

I like Masumi in Arc V, even though she got one win and got push to the side like Yaiba, she's still my favorite female character in Arc V. Makes me also wonder if Gem Knights are meant to be a Deck based off the Elemental HEROES and Crystal Beasts together what if the Crystal Beasts became the equivalent of Neo-Spacians to Gem Knights and Konami made Crystal Fusions using the Knights and Beasts as Fusion material Interesting playstyle would be after fusing you can choose to have the Beasts go to the graveyard or to the Spell Trap Zone to be used as Fusion material later or power up the other Beasts

The Duel Terminal was some kind of game that introduced a bunch of archetypes who all participated in some kind of great story; archetypes include Worms, Ally of Justice and Genex. But there's also another story which may or may not be an extension of that same story; which involves a whole lot of other newer archetypes. Archetypes involve Shaddolls, Evilswarm, Qliphorts, Gishki and/or Nekroz, Gusto, etc. Basically, a lot of archetypes seem to have a lot of monsters who borrow from other monsters, like how the Shaddoll fusions are corrupted versions of other monsters. It's really cool how much lore is incorporated in these monsters, it's just hard to figure out which monsters connect in what ways, and I'm still not sure if there's more than one story than just Duel Terminal, or if it has a really long story.

@@iBenjamin1000 I'm a bit late, but yes, the Duel terminal stories are all connected. They all happen in the same world but certain things causes that world to start over such as when Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier froze the surface of the world, then later appearing as an Evilswarm during the battle between the 4 clans and the Steelswarm.

They are a fast and versatile deck. Easy to take opponent down a variety of ways. Fusions support each other in really good ways. Short strategy. Get Lady Diamond out first turn while tributing lazuli or obsidian. You'll get back a level 4 or lower normal monster. Play that monster. Effect it into Topaz. Attack. Win.

Gem-Knight is my favourite archetype, I have this cool combo I use a lot and it is simple, you need 2 Brilliant diamonds 2 Phantom Quartzes 1 Ruby 1 other 2 card fusion 3 Gem-Knight monsters in your hand* 1 fusion spell* *Brilliant Fusion And 1 Gem-Knight in your hand also Works 1.Summon your two card fusion and summon the other Gem Knight 2. Link them into Phantom Quartz and add a Gem-Knight monster to your hand 3. Use its other effect and summon Brilliant Diamond 4. Use Diamonds effect to tribute Quartz and summon Ruby 5. Use Ruby's Effect on Diamond to get 5900 ATK Next Turn 6. Summon a Gem-Knight monster from your hand and summon your other Quartz and add another monster to your hand 7. Use Quartz's effect and shuffle The Ruby, the diamond and the quartz to summon the Second Diamond 8. Repeat Steps 4-7 Thats it! It's Quite useful for Legacy of the duelist link evolution and all you need to do is spam Zuzu Packs
