Paul Harrell was a national treasure. When he appeared in some videos a while back I thought maybe he was getting a little better, but I've heard that people who are very ill will rally near the end and I suppose that must have been it. He was an extremely skilled shooter and incredibly humble about it. I will never be able to not think of him whenever I see a box of Pop-Tarts at the grocery store, and the phrase "Not enough difference to make a difference" has snuck into my vocabulary. It's funny but I think my favorite videos were his holiday specials where he cooked on coals and did silly things like shoot pumpkins with shotguns and recite poetry. I will miss him.

Yes Paul was the best. He certainly did not want everyone to focus on his situation. He truly wanted to spend his valuable time talking guns.

RIP Paul 😢 I love his sense of humor, and his expertise. A lot of his anecdotes were humorous and had a lot of common sense. I hope I’m able share my passion for guns to others like Paul did!

Thanks to Paul for his wisdom, experiences, and willingness to share. A true class act imo. Blessings to his family as they begin to grieve and celebrate a life well lived. Roy and crew...pew pew on. As far as the non-experts out there, its easy to criticize, hate, and stir up controversy, instead of having a civil conversation that allows you to discern what you need to do for your personal/family situation.

I found Paul Harrell's channel because I wound up with a 9mm Makarov a few years ago, (friend needed money deal) and I had never heard of this gun. So I found his video on this obscure little pistol I wound up with.🤷‍♂ Then back in March or April, I found the video of when he announced his cancer, as I was waiting on the oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I have not yet been able to comment on his last video yet...

Luckily seems like the family/friends are hoping to keep content going and hopefully they will keep the library available for future viewing or reviewing for lucky ones who saw him. Paul is a true legend and will be greatly missed. Hate bringing it up but I will; we should try to be happy to have seen or experienced him rather than lament what we lost or will not having moving forward. Be well sir. I tend to like your content for the length and breadth of your content keep going! I think you should listen to your wife she sounds very intelligent and sees the forest for the trees.

RIP Paul. He did have some entertaining and fun content. His video of how to set and zero A1 iron sights helped me tremendously when I taught myself how to shoot with irons on both my Gordon carbine and Colt 733 clones. He’s going to be missed tremendously. My heart went out to the families when reading the headline of the shooting this afternoon. And then my thoughts were, “Here we go with this turning into a political debate on gun control yet again.” I agree with your wife. It does seem rather suspicious that he was on a watch list for over a year and yet nothing was done to potentially prevent him to turn violent. Winder, GA is roughly a 90 minute drive from where I live in GA and to think this occurred here in my state is despicable. It goes to show that evil is everywhere and is no respecter of persons.

I will really miss Paul Harrell. His video on M193 vs. M855 is the sole reason I only buy M193. I'm not one that gets involved in conspiracies. Off topic, but I saw your Bren Ten video drop. Back in the mid 80's I wrote Dornus & Dixon, and they sent me a bunch of marketing materials. I don't know if I still have it, but if I do I'll get it to you to pass on to Jack #2.
