I believe Clint Eastwood once said, “A man’s got to know his limitations.” There is nothing like going through one of the toughest Academies in the Federal Government, the United States Border Patrol in 1998 when PT and firearms by former DI’s and Gunnies for 6.5 months to humble a person. You come to realize, no matter how good you are, someone else is that much better. This is why screwing with someone just to screw with them is not wise. You never know the skill set of the other guy. I had a friend forever ago who was a SEAL and you would never know it. He was a silly, goofy, short, slim guy. However, he had a deadly skill set.

Talo. I did get a chance to shoot that model Kimber .357. I’m not recoil sensitive, but that one HURT!! I don’t think I’m a wuss, but that Kimber is not for me. BTW I consider your mean comment videos as comic relief. Have a good night Jason!

Talo. 1. I don't consider myself a woose, but small .357 magnums are painful. 2. I was a very fit 17 year old when I did basic training. The M16A1 gets very heavy. 3. I hate exclusionary people, and I might want to see it.

I was in the US Coast Guard for 8 years, we always had a boat to pack our gear.😁 When I am replying to folks on the internet, I try to remember that I have no clue what they are going through on the other end of the keyboard. But there are those few rare times, when a rude comment hits me wrong and my sarcastic side comes out, and it is sharp sarcasm.... When that happens, I am either going to ignore the comment, or I am going to respond with such sharp biting satire, the idiot is not likely to respond.🤷‍♂ But when people say anything about my pronunciation of anything, I just look at them and say, "I am from Louisiana, your lucky you don't need sub titles". And if Talo wants me to pronounce it a certain way, they better provide an example.🤷‍♂

I'm personally a fan of GIFT (Greater Internet F#ckwad Theory). Put people in a pseudo anonymous environment where they think they can act without consequences and their worst traits come out. The smallest revolver I've ever had that 357 was tolerable in was my Ruger SP101, and even then it's not at all pleasant but you can go through a whole box and your wrists won't be sore (not like one of those scandium jobs). But it makes 38 special feel super soft. It's just kind of cool that it can do both. But it's a niche tool for enthusiasts, if you just want to protect yourself for example the $600 it costs can be much better spent. My BIL was in the Marines, multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have noted that when he packs for anything, even if it's a cruise or a trip to his MIL's house, be packs out exactly what he needs and nothing more. Nothing less either, but nothing more. He won't even throw in a flashlight or multitool unless he specifically will need one. The RKBA really does transcend so many other issues. I've met people I have nothing else in common with through my interest in firearms, be it the actual firearms themselves or the politics thereof. I might not agree with a lot of the things other people do and say, but I'd never deny them the right to defend themselves and there's something good about that. Weird that he'd be all about a beard, they make you shave yours if you're a billy bad ass special forces operator. Interferes with gas masks and the like. Also weird he's so worried about how to pronounce Talo.
