Pro tip: when doing a professional sound gear review, check if your mic input is overloaded.

How would this stand against having a head with DI like Bassbreaker 15? I'm trying to decide between the two for my home recording. Any thoughts and comments?

This beats the crap out of bassbreaker !

Laney would be much more versatile with the range from cleans all the way to high Gain, can't beat the 4 button footswitch, two Independent channels with Independent tone controls each with two selectable voicings, and the list of awesome features just keeps going. On the other hand, if you don't really need high Gain, and you just love the particular tone of bassbreaker then you should go just for that. And that is not to say that Laney cannot do great light overdrive tones, it actually has a whole slew of them! I'm very happy with my Laney, but as a disclaimer my judgment of bassbreaker is only from KZbin reviews.

You play great man but to be honest its not a good review, certainly not the one i needed anyway. By assuming that we're al metal heads, you've basicaly just showcased the amp's powerchord sounds throughout the whole video. I wanted to hear how ALL thhe strings were cuting through when you dial in certain tones and frequencies. Unfortunately we just got an amp demo with 2/3 string power chords.
