I had the 3.0 and now have the 4.0. I came back to this review before selecting my 4.0 wedge grinds. The detail and discussion on this review is relevant for both versions of the wedge, and is an outstanding review.

Best review of these clubs I've seen. The method used to test and identify the optimal scenarios for each club was extremely useful. This allowed you to match your usual greenside conditions, AoA, and shot preferences with the various bounce options/model. Around the green and in the bunker the 60 Eye 2 appears to be the most versatile for the conditions I face: tight fairway lies; and, occasionally thicker greenside rough. Narrows down the testing for me and gives me a model of what and how to test the wedges at the next Ping demo day. Well done!

I'm really pleased with my 50 degree 12 bounce. Love to chip and pitch with this club. SS grind is hard to hit fat! This club truly glide's though the grass. Cheer's

This is a really great review.. but what if we play on a huge variety of course conditions? How on earth can you pick a 2 wedge setup that works for most conditions when there’s lofts all the way from 50 to 60 with a million different combos of bounce and sole grind??
