The Hare and the Tortoise

The story of the Hare and the Tortoise tells of a race between the Hare, a fast animal, and the Tortoise, a slow animal. The Hare was confident that he would win easily, so he stopped to rest and fell asleep under a tree. Meanwhile, the Tortoise, although slow, kept moving forward with perseverance. When the Hare woke up and realized, the Tortoise was almost at the finish line. The Hare hurriedly chased after him, but it was too late, the Tortoise had won. The story teaches a lesson about patience, effort and not looking down on others even though they seem to be weak.
