At the time of the Buddha, around the 6th century AD, the Indian subcontinent was divided into several regions, but these were not exactly the same as the cities or states of today. The 16 Mahājanapadas were the sixteen great kingdoms or regions of that time. They spread to the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. Some of the famous Mahājanapadas were Magadha, Kosala, Vatsa and Avanti. These regions included parts of present-day India and Nepal, among others. However, it is important to note that these ancient territories did not correspond exactly to modern political boundaries. Sorry I couldn't answer in Thai, I am a Nepali.
