H.M.Queen Sirikit just made Thai traditional dresses to be standardized, made them categorized and easy to pick per occassions. Once we have standard, then we can further develop them innovatively in the correct path and direction. This was a wise move and benefit to all her people, Thai people. Fortunately, H.M. also studied, collected, supported, and added value to local fabrics and local garment patterns to reveal back to the market in the better quality and worth conserved. So, she is beloved by all Thais afterall.

These Thai national costume originated from our queen Sirikit in King rama 9 reign. Seeing that our country didn't have a national costume like Japan's kimono, So orders were given to collect past information and then adapt it into a new design, creating eight sets of Thai national costume, each with a specific name, worn on different occasions. We have a museum showcasing the actual outfits worn by the queen, with a wealth of evidence available for study. This includes details about designers, sewing techniques, fabric weaving sources, and the tradition of crafting jewelry, all passed down through generations over an extensive period. And we also have documented evidence that we have been wearing and adorning ourselves with this style for a long time, recorded through documents, photos, and videos from both within the country and internationally. This's the Thai identity that anyone can instantly recognize as Traditional Thai dress, and we take pride in it. Do you know Thai silk? Thai national costume are mostly made from Thai silk. นอกจากชุดไทยรูปแบบต่างๆ แล้ว ผ้าไหมไทย ผ้าลายพื้นเมือง งานสาน ก็เป็นอีกสิ่งที่พระองค์ให้การสนับสนุนเพื่อคงไว้ซึ่งวัฒนธรรม ประเทศไทยมีความนิยมเครื่องห่มกายตามท้องถิ่นผสานกับวัฒนธรรมแต่เดิมมา อาจมีเชื้อสายจากหลายชนชาติในอดีต พลัดถิ่นจากสงคราม ตั้งรกรากจากค้าขาย แต่ล้วนมาอยู่และซึมซับในแผ่นดินไทยและเป็นคนไทยด้วยความภูมิใจ ก็เหมือนประเทศอื่นๆ ที่มีหลายเชื้อชาติแต่สุดท้ายก็ถือประเทศนั้นเป็นประเทศตนตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษ จากหลายความเชื่อ หลากวัฒนธรรม แต่เรามีการผสมผสานในแบบของเรา และจนหยิบยกความงดงามให้ออกมาในรูปแบบเราตั้งแต่อดีต และยินดีเสมอที่จะเผยแพร่สิ่งดีงาม แม้แต่บางประเทศที่ไทยเคยส่งคนไปช่วยสอนศิลปวัฒนธรรม ออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม แต่กลับถือสิทธิในสิ่งที่เราสอน ไม่แปลกเลยถ้าหลายสิ่งของไทย จะคล้ายกับสิ่งใดของชาติไหนไปบ้าง เพราะตั้งแต่อดึต ชาติไทยเป็นที่พึ่ง เป็นศูนย์รวม มีมิตรไมตรีกับชาติเพื่อนบ้าน ชาติคู่ค้า เผยแผ่ศาสนา หรือแม้แต่ชาติที่ไร้ถิ่น และคนไทยใจกว้างเปิดรับและประยุกต์ในแบบที่เราเป็น หยิบเฉพาะส่วนหรืออาจเดิมมีอยู่และคล้ายกันอยู่แล้ว เช่น โขนไทย รำไทย(ที่บางชนิดจะตั้งชื่อ หรือแต่งกายตามบท แต่ยังคงมีท่วงท่าอ่อนช้อยงดงามในแบบไทย) อาหารไทย (บางอย่างก็ดัดแปลงเพื่อลดกลิ่น ลดหรือเพิ่มรสชาติ ดัดแปลงให้ใช้ได้กับวัตถุดิบพื้นถิ่น เช่น ขนมหม้อแกง แกงมัสมั่น) ภาษาไทย (ถ้าเรื่องของภาษาทุกชาติย่อมมีรากศัพย์จากภาษาอื่นมาก่อนเช่นกัน แต่สุดท้ายมันก็คือภาษาประจำชาติที่ถูกสื่อสารกันมายาวนาน แม้แต่ตรวจเลือดยังยืนยันประเทศชัดไม่ได้ มีเพียงแสดงชนเผ่า แถบถิ่นกำเนิด เพียงแต่เรายืนยันด้วยสัญชาติ การอยู่อาศัย การยอมรับที่จะถูกปกครองตามกฎประเทศ หรือการรักและทำเพื่อประเทศของเรา วัฒนธรรมก็เช่นกัน มันบอกชัดได้ว่าเป็นของใคร จากการเจริญงอกงาม นิยมใช้ และภูมิใจใช้สืบต่อกันมา

ชุดไทยมีหลากหลายแบบมาก ไว้ใส่ในงานพิธีการต่างๆ กันออกไป และมีทั้งแบบใส่กลางวันกลางคืน และในหลายงานพิธี หน้าร้อนหน้าหนาว และมีมานานมาก สมัยก่อนอาจจะมีมากมายในวังหรือชนชั้นสูงข้าราชการ ประชาชนก็ใส่ในงานประเพณีต่างๆ มีใส่แบบประจำวัน คือมันก็มีเงื่อนไขมากมายอยู่. พระราชินีในพระมหากษัตริย์ ร.9 ท่านทรงพยายามพัฒนาปรับปรุง และเผยแพร่ให้ประชาชนชาวไทย นำมาพัฒนาปรับปรุงต่อยอดเรื่อยมาไม่หยุด /คนไทยต้องมีสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ ดูอย่างชุดไทยเป็นตัวอย่าง ก็เพราะพระราชินีของไทยเราที่นำศิลปวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ กลับมาให้ประชาชนคนไทยได้สืบสานต่อยอดเรื่อยมา มีบางชาติที่พยายามจะโค้นล้มสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ไทย โดยอาศัยยุยงคนในชาติ

Currently, Cambodia is producing the movie The dark mother 2024. The costumes, set design, and gimmicks in the story are similar to the legendary Thai movie Mae Nak, which Thailand first released in 1936 and has been made for almost 100 versions. Movies and TV dramas, with the most famous version being released in 1999, and there are many things that Cambodia has included in their movies, such as the scene of Mae Nak stretching her organs. The scene of Mae Nak hanging upside down from above. Mae Nak is a woman who has been in Thai legend for more than 100 years. We have stories about her that have been passed down from generation to generation. and made into movies and dramas. We have a place to pay homage to Mae Nak, located in Bangkok. The history was built since 1672, which is proof of our legend. Cambodia says that his is also a legend. But I don't know if he has the kind of evidence that we have.
