I often get -300~320 on defense when I got hit 8 times a day, and got -260~280 when I got hit 7 times a day. To gain more trophies, I need to try maintaining the trophies when 8-hit days and get trophies when there are less than 8 hits. Although th17 troops are super strong. Sometimes they just 2 star my base. And I got approximately 1 defense a day. I put my air trap on one side of the base, some unlucky guys may lose all their healers and a bunch of edragon because of that. On the other hand, I put my key defenses far from townhall so that they can't get huge value by the blimp.

The best strategy for lower townhall should be the fireball. But if you don't have fireball, maybe you can try dragon attack.
