The reason they did the level structure like this is cause it's Yoshi's Story, you're writing your own Story, you choose the levels to decide how the Story comes out. It's supposed to be played by the whole family competing each other for scores by playing the levels in different story variations. It's really unique and I wish more games were like it but instead people just say like, "oh its over already can't believe that was 60 dollars" like that one guy in chat.

why are people hating on yoshi's story so much in the chat? The art style is great, the music is great, the sound is great, the levels are interesting, there's tons of content if you play all the levels and get all the hearts and melons to try to better your score, the platforming is good, there is plenty of challenge if you run out of yoshi's you game over and have to start the campaign again so like its more punishing than every kirby game, the aesthetic isn't even kiddy there's a lot of dark looking enemies in this. There's nothing wrong with this game I feel like some of Thab's fans only watch Nintendo games instead of all the other terrible games Thab has to play and then they compare this to the other Nintendo games and think its bad or something even though they're not playing it, they're not playing the game as its intended to be (as a score competing game with friends and family), and they're not looking at it through a CRT, like it wasn't rose tinged glasses it really is that good I 100% it every year its just that these nimrods in chat understood the game more as a kid than they do as an adult it's crazy how fast people judge games they're not even playing.

I don't understand people that say Yoshi's Story is blurry like???? You're supposed to play it on a CRT which makes everything on the console equally blurry because of the way the screen is and it looks better because of it like, if the problem is the images are low res its cause its being played at a higher resolution than the original. People in chat saying like "I think the yarn in yoshi's epic yarn is more crisp *shrug*" like first of all that game is called Yoshi's Woolly World not "Yoshi's epic yarn" and second that game came out 18 years later than Yoshi's Story of course its going to be more crisp it was created in a higher resolution lol.

I'd also like to remind everyone that comparing Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island to Yoshi's Story at all is insane. They're not even the same type of platformer, on vastly different consoles, and one is a Mario game. Compare Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island to Super Mario World instead of tearing down this beautiful game just cause you're mad New Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS were both terrible.

Those dots around the screen are super annoying. 🤢 I love the graphics and art style, but the more of it that gets covered up with garbage, the less I can appreciate it.
