Use nopox also, it does work well, be careful , that stuff will eat threw acrylic container, too much and you will know, you will get a whitish film on the glass, by the way that anenome tank looks gorgeous!!

Yeah going slow with nopox. I use it in the container it comes in and just have a piece of hard 1/4 tubing going into a hole in the cap. Thanks for viewing!

If you are doing continuous auto water changes why dose? Some people don’t even do water changes. Some do 10-20-30% weekly, biweekly, monthly. Testing recess what’s needed for dosing. Continuous water changes adds what expense in comparison. How is element stability? Wouldn’t it obviate the need for any dosing or calcium reactors etc? What salts are you using?
@ThaBiznessReefTank6 жыл бұрын
The water changes are to help remove wastes from water and to replenish some trace. Water changes alone would not handle the big 3 for my system. The CaRx replaces alk/ca and some trace but not all (only what's melted in coral skeletons - there are others as well) My big 3 are pretty stable. I use fritz which mixes up to where my tank runs. 1% daily change is not a large expense. I have gone long periods of no water change and tank suffered. This works for me. I have been kicking around the idea of dosing trace elements but not there yet in something like a red sea abcd, Triton, or other method.

Brian what’s the name of that blue coral in your tank?
@ThaBiznessReefTank6 жыл бұрын
I have a few blues. One on arch is ice fire. The others are no names. Where is it?
@chi-townreefer77366 жыл бұрын
The one in the middle of the tank.

Oh that one. Its more purple/Green. It was sold to me as a True Myagi Tort altho I have another one that looks similar that's a no-name
