I can tell you one thing, I did a research paper on the structure of South Africa’s economy and discovered a lot due to the past apartheid regime. Black people in this country including leaders like Nelson mandela and them tried to build a house on top of a broken foundation hence you find people of colour trying to acquire as much wealth as they can at all cost ,because the system has not changed its just structured in a different form. For example majority of black owned business are SME’s, SME’s are considered to be place holders by big firms like Shoprite and others. Hence majority of SME’s still push products that are outside of the black economic system Eg black label beer etc.

President Mbeki has no pressure in speaking his mind about the party that has made him a millionaire- He was once in the Arena to put up a fight against the triple threats. We should have diversified our energy mix during his time, when he had been taught for a length of a time economics in England- the practicality of it is that we had the opportunity during his time to declare our country a developmental state, which by now we would have fully capacitated our people. Was he supposed to take soldiers and overthrow the Zimbabwean government? I remember the speech correctly. He said Zimbabweans must solve Zimbabwean problems how they see fit. He got Morgan Tsangirai (or however it is spelt) and Mugabe to sit and draft a shared government deal, which Zimbabwe did. Zimbabwe is a sovereign state and South Africa is not an America that sponsors regime changes in foreign nations. Zimbabweans must solve Zimbabwean problems the same way we South Africans must solve South African problems. We can’t cry foul to any other statesman of any other country to solve our problem. It’s a simple concept really.
