I chose not to vote because I have lost trust in political leaders. Many of them switch parties when it suits them, and I haven't seen the level of development that should have been achieved by now. Leaders don't raise their voices on pressing local issues. Public transport-buses, trains, and roads-remains crowded and unclean. Poverty persists with people begging on the streets, while young graduates struggle to find jobs. Hardworking individuals are not paid what they deserve. The voices of the poor and victims of crime go unheard. It feels like a Roman circus, where my vote is just an illusion because many politicians spend enormous sums of money to buy votes. It’s not a fair game, and I refuse to blindly follow like a sheep.

The political system is getting toxic in India and it has to bring a big reform. 1. Any candidate winning under any banner if he desire to switch to another banner, he has to be automatically dismissed and the particular seat has to be vacant and should open for the contest again within six month. Until the re-contest this particular seat should be considered the seat to be the sole owner of the actual banner until it is win by the new candidate to whatsoever new banner.
