I don't know if you remember this conversation, but we met years ago at Rumba Cafe in Columbus Ohio and I told you I had a music blog (this is our youtube channel's account), and then you introduced me to Matt Beckler (Juneye). I attend Matt's old church. It's just funny that a recommendation for Matt's music came from you before any of my church friends haha. About 2003 the British Radio DJ Bob Harris promoted Americana acts in the UK. One of those was Thad Cockrell. He played The Borderline club in London's West End. As not many people had heard of Thad , only a couple of dozen people made up the audience in that fairly small club. Thad played superbly. I suggest people look up his early work such as 'Stack Full of Dreams' and ' Warmth and Beauty!'. There is something of James Blunt in 'Swinging' in my opinion. The Borderline will be a sell out next time he plays there!
