I grew up with you. Your dad was our pastor in the late 80s and early 90s. When I saw this, it blew me away. So happy for you! God is good! Stay faithful to Him.

Being a Nashville native, I've known about Thad for years. He's played on the local station here but I'm glad everyone else is finally getting to hear him.

Very inspiring story! I'm so happy I caught Jimmy's show the night he originally told the story and was able to watch you playing with the roots and on The Today Show! I had to download the song, too! It will be the starter song for my 2021 summer playlist. This is a story we ALL need in 2021! Many more blessings!

Dude... so happy for you! I don't know if you remember this conversation, but we met years ago at Rumba Cafe in Columbus Ohio and I told you I had a music blog (this is our youtube channel's account), and then you introduced me to Matt Beckler (Juneye). I attend Matt's old church. It's just funny that a recommendation for Matt's music came from you before any of my church friends haha. Love what you do with Leagues and stoked for this new chapter too! - Ryan G

About 2003 the British Radio DJ Bob Harris promoted Americana acts in the UK. One of those was Thad Cockrell. He played The Borderline club in London's West End. As not many people had heard of Thad , only a couple of dozen people made up the audience in that fairly small club. Thad played superbly. I suggest people look up his early work such as 'Stack Full of Dreams' and ' Warmth and Beauty!'. There is something of James Blunt in 'Swinging' in my opinion. The Borderline will be a sell out next time he plays there!
