Lucky for you that they change the aircraft to A330 because the 777-200ER are outdate in THAI fleet.

And the 2-4-2 config is more comfy then the B777's 3-3-3!

Or you can sit at the last couple row, it's 2-3-2, I did it few times on THAI 777-300ER. 😄

Correction, most european bound flights depart at midnight. I also am not aware of the ciriticisms that you have heard from about the airlline. To be completely fair, all airlines will have negative reviews here and there, and Thai is no different to any other airline. They're in fact still a very popular airline in Europe and Australia thanks to Singapore Airlines passing on their staff bonuses to their customers. I'd say the title of the video is more suitable for Philippine Airlines in recent news. My family members had to cancel their itinerary with PAL because their flights were rescheduled 3 times all within 1 day of departure!

When Covid hit, Thai was struggling and so did the service. I don't talk from experience because I never flew them before this flight so I didn't really know. This is just based on other trip reports and articles online I've seen. But I had a good and pleasant flight them. Cabin crew was very friendly and really seemed to enjoy their job. I don't know about PAL, I never flew them. But 3 times rescheduled the day before the flight seems kind of stressful😅

@@GMaviation I’m the one who took the last flight of Thai Airways from BKK to SGN since pandemic. I still remember the cabin crews told me pls take care of my health during 2 isolating weeks. I went to Royal Silk Lounge, very empty. I checked my phone and seeing 2 new covid patient at W Hotel BKK ( hotel that I stayed ). After pandemic, all flight has been operated by Thai Smiles A320.
