Ringside must have listened to you! I just ordered those exact mitts you said were discontinued from their website. The white and black ones with the blue trim and blue logo on the palm.

YES- Just recently saw on their newsletter and picked up a pair too. they feel so good. Great buy!

Hello! I enjoy and appreciate your videos! I am trying to discern which Twins Special mitts the two are in your video. I don't see them listed below. I am going to check out the Ringside you posted. Do you think the Ringside is as good of quality as the Twins special, as long as they are leather? Because of their price point, or Twins is worth the money? I currently use Hayabusa and they do NOT absorb the shock. I don't like their gloves, thai pads, mma gloves or boxing gloves. I don't like them at all. I've always trained with Title, and I am looking for excellent-quality equipment for my home gym that I use for training with other fighters. I want a lightweight pair of mits for speed and another pair for hard punches, kicks, elbows etc. Would love to protect my hands and wrists, I do get pain in the wrists. Thanks in advance!

Hey, Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment. What country are you in? usually all the twins stuff is hard to get shipped to the us because of a pending lawsuit. you can mail order through shops in BKK/Thailand, which is how i get all my twins equipment. actionzone2003.weebly.com/catalogue.html the title speed mitss are great for boxing but a bit painful for elbows IMO, i still use my twin pair for all that stuff (with the covered fingers).

I never thought about using boxing equipment for my own personal use, I think my coach uses rival focus mits though.

They make good focus mitts- Nice thin ones

What headgear do you use? Are students allowed to wear molded clear gel ear guards? for sensitive ears. And are students expected to buy their own mits and gloves, handwraps and shinguards?
@thaiboxinginstitute3 жыл бұрын
I use winning head gear, but don’t use it much anymore since we don’t spar to hard, or at least I don’t. The athletes usually use USA boxing certified competition gear. What gel ear guards tho? I’ve never seen them, send a link over please and finally, we expect at the very least gloves and hand wraps to be purchased by our members when they are ready to invest but otherwise we have a ton of clean loaner equipment members can borrow but it’s always encouraged for people to purchase their own equipment for the sake of cleanliness.

What do you think of the Twins PML-10?
@thaiboxinginstitute3 жыл бұрын
Great! Used them before. Sturdy and built well. Something I forgot to mention in the video is using focus mitts without finger covers as sometimes an errand punch can damage your fingers 🤬

Good stuff and I totally agree with your outlook on why buy mma brands when boxing and Muay Thai brands are perfectly suited for it. Also check out pro boxing equipment. They have great quality gear for good prices. And will bargain with you if you go down to their shops and buy a good amount. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that part 😂
