marriage is not about rituals or religion. no one is bothered with those poems in arabic or Sanskrit. its about plethora of rights associated with marriage thus india should also make the institution of marriage gender neutral.

I think a foreigner can register same sex marriage if he/she marries a Thai partner. If both are foreigners, I don't think so. Same sex marriage can be registered in any country that has Thai consul's presence as well.

Foreigners can register their marriage with other foreigners, but they must have 2 witnesses who are of legal age, passports, and a document certifying their single status from their respective Embassy. The original document must be also translated into Thai and presented to the officials. This process is more complex compared to registering a marriage between a foreigner and a Thai.

Ridiculous! Don't you realize that Malaysia still maintains outdated British laws that discriminate and divide its people into first (Malays) and second (Chinese and Indians) classes?
