What a lovely part of the island you've shown us Geoff. I didn't see that when I was there last year. Very enthusiastic on the noodles there too matey. They looked delicious. It's probably too late now, but if you continue anti clockwise from this episode, past the ferry terminal, and just east of there, you can ride your scooter off the road onto a little track and down to a small beach. You can see it from the road. It is sandy, and there are a few derelict buildings hidden by the vegetation, but you can slip down there and have your own little private beach, and watch the ferries coming in and out. You may see the occasional local coming down to join you. At the moment, I'm on the "other side", at Koh Lanta now. Thanks for sharing.

wow, some really stunning beach views there Geoff but the best was the beautiful welcoming smile of the young lady making that fantastic soup!, absolute bargain for the price the Chinese temple was well worth a visit and you chose the perfect music to accompany it😊😊😊

Went here a decade ago with my son.We found a cobra show with 2 guys up on that hill and the cobra was onto me! Hitting the perspex cage trying to get at me. Also Geoff I know you like snorkelling and there are some great day snorkel trips down the other end of the island. Koh Chang is beautiful but I miss the craziness of Pattaya.

Sawadeewadee Geoff. Yeh, we stayed at that lovely resort right in the north of the island a few years ago. Very nice but back then the area lacked places to eat. Only had 1 choice of restaurants then. Anyway u cant beat a £1.15p tasty bowl of freshly made Thai noodle soup. Good on ya mate. ;-]
