What a tour and what a beautiful country. Hope that these tours can be possible again in the future. For the coming two years I see little possibility, maybe in the northern and middle parts of Europe but still you have to keep your distance. My wife and I toured central and northern Thailand several years ago on a rented Harley (the only big bikes that one could rent at the time), taking turns to ride it. It was spectacular, and different from your trip in the south of the country. The people, food, roads, scenery and accommodations were all lovely. The hotel and food costs were very affordable, too. Thank you for showing us a part that we didn't see during our trip. If you get the chance, try the north of Thailand - as unforgettable as your trip. Thanks for posting. It brought back many wonderful memories.

Hi Andy & Carol. That was a great series of videos. I caught episode 1 when you put it up, but I'm real happy I waited till they were all up so I could watch them back to back over the last few nights. As I commented on Episode 1, Thailand is one of my bucket list countries due to the whole Buddhist doctrine ticking boxes for me. The temple with the huge statue looked absolutely amazing, as well as the scenery & the food. So I can well imagine you both had a great experience out there. So finally I'll say, thanks for sharing that with 'us' as it has been great to get away from the current situation that we're all in. Thank you Mr & Mrs Flyer, I watched them all, absolutely marvellous. I've used a Sheepskin seat cover for about 15 years from 'Cruis'n Comfort' in Australia on a Triumph Trophy 900 and it turns a four hour seat into an all day every day fresh as a daisy for two weeks round Europe seat. And it prevents what the Yanks call 'Monkey Butt'!

Your tour was enhanced by the presence of Mrs Flyer. It’s good to see couples touring together. And it doesn’t hurt that (said with utmost respect) she is very easy to look at and listen to. So often KZbin bike trips show “blokes only” being “real men”. Which is fine, but ....

If you’re ever in Thailand again let me know. Don’t own a fancy hotel but I do know lots of cool roads and places in central and western Thailand off the beaten track. Lots of off road as well. I’m sure there are tons of enthusiasts in the north to take you on a tour through the wonderful north with its 1000s of twisties. Motorcycle heaven. Thanks for sharing this tour. It’s great to see Thailand from someone else’s perspective after having lived here for so long.

Bit weird watching during UK lockdown, but a great insight into the potential for riding in Thailand. Just shows what there is beyond the tourist spots, and of course riding gives a purpose to a trip. The hotels look relaxing and cool, and you were clearly spoilt by Paul and Bo. Food for thought.

Great to get Mrs Flyer's comments on the trip and bike too 👍 I had a xc and had the gel seat fitted and didn't really make much difference really still sore buttocks after about 2 hrs riding. Got a 2nd generation VFR800X which is much better. Hope to see more trips once all this silliness is over I've got a trip to Holland planned with a couple of mates in September. Interesting trip, lots to see, great food, intriguing culture, and having Paul and Bo as hosts was most helpful I'm sure. Imagine having to gomit alone with littlectime to do it. Yes, enjoyed every second of the whole series, and if you are anything like us you will have delayed leaving Thailand until the last possible minute. By the way, you absolutely MUST visit Thailand during the Songkran festival in April, (next year maybe) it's two or three days of excellent fun!

Yes, after this biking trip we went and stayed in a fancy hotel in Bangkok for a few days (as you do) - had a brilliant time and we'll defo be back!

I hear what you say about the rain in Thailand. It’s very similar to Singapore and Malaysia (November to February) where I used to sit at traffic lights soaked to the skin as the rain bounced knee high, my waterproof boots filled up with rain water and forked lightning flashing like the gods were angry with me in particular. I used to be crapping me’sell as I wished the lights green. But on a dry day...life didn’t get much better 😎

Hi Andy - the whole tour looked great. I spent three months in the north of Thailand in the early 80s and found the country and people wonderful. Absolutely loved this tour series, a bit of a shame about the Hero 8 giving you a lot of grief but some truly stunning scenery, those mountains would never get boring to look at ! Plus the monkeys, elephants and snakes on the road sounds like an interesting way to spice up those somewhat empty highways too haha! Glad I caught up with this one and as always a pleasure to watch. You might be thanking us for watching to the end but it's a thanks from me for yet another brilliant documented tour!
