These people have been living on Koh Panyi since the 1800s so they have figured it all out. They would have a contingency plan in place. Possibly utilising the island behind them in an emergency.

I can’t believe such an island exists. So many questions. How do these people survive living on the sea? Sanitation? Electricity? This is facsinating!

As they are seafarers these people have all their bases covered. I’d say they would use septic tanks for sanitation and they probably have an electricity cable from the mainland run across to the island. I’d say they would also use solar.

Howdy! The reason why we traveled north was to sail to the island from the closest pier. You can probably sail there from Phuket but it could take longer ✌️
