When I was a child, there were many parades .Every sub-district and district in Chiang Mai sent a parade to join the competition with great fun. (30-50 parades) , starting from the front of Wat Phra Singh in the middle of Chiang Mai. But now these parades have lost their charm. and Yi Peng not Yu Peng 🥰

I'm torn which one to book, this one (nearer to Chiang Mai and looks more organized) or the CAD one (bigger at 5k tickets). I inquired with Horizon Village and they said there will be 1,000 tickets to be sold this yr. Was it the same when you went? No fireworks with the lanterns at Horizon? Thanks!
