FYI, you can get more than 20.000 Baht from the ATMs. You just have to do two transactions or more, i.e., Withdraw 20,000B and then repeat. I have done it in the past. I have a account with Bangkok Bank but I have used my American Bank and it works with both.

600 baht for that first hotel = £13.33 at today's rate. Not wearing a seat belt in the front seat is a fine in Thailand, even in a taxi. Those monkey nuts are steamed. Absolutley lovely. Good man, driving all that way alone.

toxic family members. it can be a challenge. sure, they all love each other but the yelling can be upsetting. I'm trying to be the voice of calmness and reason without getting triggered. Sometimes, I feel that I'm going to put lavender incense everywhere or Xanax in the food. lol
