For the key card for the hotel room electric I use a store card from back home or even a piece of card(something I wouldn't be upset if the cleaner binned). These are generally just push switches at the bottom of the card slot so doesn't need to be a room key.

Totally agree about the BUM GUN… why doesn’t the West use them. I just remodeled one of the baths and added one Called Handheld Bidet at Lowe’s.

Hi Tony....another topic of frustration that you have highlighted before in other videos is when you are in traffic and all of the motorbikes squeeze their way past you to get to the front of the line at a traffic light. Obviously much different here in the U.S. Thanks for all your videos!! Cheers from Michigan

Thanks for sharing about the dogs, squatty potty & all the pointers. Definitely proves a good point that if you are not willing to accept new things, & be part of the Thailand culture… maybe Thailand isn’t for you. My husband & I can’t wait to go! Thank you Tony 😊

Thanks for another great video! I'm coming over to Thailand in 1 month and of course my girlfriend is the one I missed most while back home in Sweden but also my Thai friends. One of them has a "mamas & papas", use to have a few beers with him and other neighbors, they also have a toilet, well a hole in the floor, like you talked about, a real challenge to use for sure :)

The only thing weird to me, the same when I was in India but too embarrassed to ask. I love the bidet, but no toilet paper? Do people walk around damp and drip dry on their clothes? I’m just wondering how they do it. Lol
@kevinp81082 ай бұрын
I have a toilet seat bidet like the Japanese style and I don’t need to dry off with toilet paper. After I use the bidet, I let my underwear absorb the water. Your 98.6F body heat will quickly dry your underwear. It’s not that bad! It’s a lot better than having skid marks on your underwear.

There is McDonalds, KFC ect everywhere, there are also plenty of western restaurants in tourist areas. Even at the Thai markets you can buy fried chicken and pork on sticks, omelettes, corn on the cob, at the 7/11 toasted sandwiches and salads, there are lots of pizza and burger takeaways. If you want Thai in a restaurant go for pork or chicken noodle soup, not spicy.

Western food is everywhere. Not a problem.

Not all Thai food in Thailand is spicy! Learning about the food is part of the experience of being hear.

Ok! There’s no room for stand your ground mentality in Thai culture. Sitting around talking and sharing food is the norm for Thai’s! When the food is cooked it’s brought out,not held in the kitchen, like in the west! Paper is very expensive, and so is garbage cost. And Thai’s aren’t sloppy eaters. You might starve if you don’t learn to eat with sticks.
