But does richness equate to a funtime? My idea of a phuket/krabi holiday would be to get on a bike with a tank top and shorts, lie down and swim n random beaches , get tanned, trek less populated capes. And then go to a local bar and have few well earned beers. Its fancy and interesting to watch all the luxury on display, but somehow it feels soulless

Love Thailand. Bangkok is insane, so much to see and do. Did you go to Siam Paragon shopping mall? It has one of the best Thai silk designer's Jim Thomson collection - pieces that are rare to find elsewhere - and there are a number of cafes to spoil yourself and eat. I spent a full afternoon there alone, last time I was in Bangkok. Love the country, love their nature and culture. But most importantly love the people: warm, humble and very polite - something we europeans can learn from.

I struggle with frizzy hair, always wearing a hat to protect myself from the sun. I love the outfits you choose, simple and classic. It does translate anywhere you go.
