It's a blessing that the uncle passed away the way he did, doing what he most loved, traveling through the old country, reminiscing of his youth, eating the food he grew up eating, and seeing familiar places in the country of his birth and youth. He didn't suffer much being cramped up in a hospital room with all kinds of interventions being done to him in attempts to save his life. When I become of age and it's my turn to leave this world, I would wish to leave the way this uncle did.
