My question is why the producerts, and particularly Sukumar, did not get this important point. Why are they drafting composers at the last minute like we are still in the 90's and early 2000's? BGM for films is a very different ballgame now. It is one of the first things people talk about coming out of the theater, something unheard of in earlier decades. In the process, the producers screwed up the relationship between DSP and Thaman. DSP probably considers Thaman his mortal enemy now.
