Feels weird seeing a model layout of Thamesmead before it was all built. Particularly round 14:10 which looks like Wolvercote Road and Lensbury Way. We used to live at house 17 in Wolvercote Road.

Remember when the random 19 and 17 year old could get themselves on the list for a council house and not even be married? And get selected so very quickly they were advertising for people to join the community. The reason this was available cause it was a new build on virgin land for a housing estate. If only the country did this still.
