Well it made it to lewisham in 1999. I remember going on the dlr in 1990 and I couldn’t believe how good the service was and the fact that it was run by computer!!

I first went on the DLR in early 1989 and it still felt like a toytown railway as it wove about through the vast construction sites on the Isle of Dogs. It's developed a great deal but it did feel like a bit of a novelty / joke back then.

Did I heard the extension of the Jubliee line before the D.L.R was going to built, I kind of heard it before about the Jubliee line extension, but because of the Docks were kind of still there.
