When I lost my best friend back in 2019, I wanted to shut myself completely from my loved ones and the literary industry. It took me a few months to get back to doing what I love, and now three years later, I am enjoying life than I was before. Losing a loved one hurts especially if that person is your biggest supporter. Thankfully, his family still supports my writing.
