Watching this interview is a dream come true. I enjoyed watching GVM's interview on Kaakha Kaakha. In the same way, I wished to see an interview with Mohan Raja for Thani Oruvan, and now I don't have to wait for it anymore. The energy he has while answering the questions is amazing! As an introvert, I now understand why I'm able to resonate a lot with Mithran. Mohan Raja himself is an introvert expressing his gift of creativity through films. Art does have the power to inspire and create a change. I watched Thani Oruvan a few days before the anniversary. I relished every scene in the movie. I never got bored even though I knew what was going to happen. The element of love fit very well. The proposal scene is undoubtedly one of the best scenes in Tamil cinema. The dark humor was indeed the only way to ease the tension here and there in the movie. Music was powerful, and it played a huge role from the beginning until the end. As he said, everyone performed their work to their best, which resulted in a masterpiece. Thank you, Mohan Raja sir, for creating Thani Oruvan!🙂

Maybe you brought up Batman into the conversation.. but it was evident when Mr.Raja said this at @16:48, it reminded me of Nolan's Batman Trilogy where Joker says.. "This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object". Great interview content as always.

Sudhir, why didn't you ask him why the super intelligent super rich villain is from a poor humble background? Which oppressive millionaire in our country is like that?
@bareblack09
@bareblack09 3 жыл бұрын
Answer to your 1st qn:- Palani a.k.a Siddharth's mother gives birth to Siddharth in minister's car in the beginning of the movie is not just a coincidence but if you watch the movie clearly you would understand that it was Siddharth who created that opportunity for himself before he comes to this world, that's how Sengalvaraayan gets introduced to the minister, he is just evil by birth, so it doesn't matter where he is born, this movie is like "the dark knight" you gotta watch it multiple times to understand everything what the director tried to say. Answer to your 2nd qn:- Read the movie's disclaimer.
@Sri-wg3ne
@Sri-wg3ne 3 жыл бұрын
@@bareblack09 Nobody can be evil by birth. Your wording sounds vicious. Only by circumstances only people become evil or good, the one prominent man who was shown to be from a humble background is shown as evil, this shows the mindset of the director. He corrected this aspect in Velaikkaran.
@bareblack09
@bareblack09 3 жыл бұрын
@@Sri-wg3ne Did you watch the deleted scenes of this movie? In one scene Palani manipulates his friend and the tea shop owner to steal the snacks, so what circumstances do you think would have made a 8 year old to manipulate people like that?
@Sri-wg3ne
@Sri-wg3ne 3 жыл бұрын
@@bareblack09 That's what I'm asking you. Why did he show that boy from a humble background as that way as if he is born that way? Nobody is born evil. Why did they director portray a boy from a humble background as born evil?? Which evil millionaire in our country is from a humble background?
@bareblack09
@bareblack09 3 жыл бұрын
@@Sri-wg3ne I think that's the liberty the director took for himself, he never mentioned anywhere as to why Siddharth became evil because the movie that we watch is actually Mithran's point of view, Mithran doesn't care about how Siddharth became evil because he doesn't want to change him but to defeat him. Defeating a powerful enemy is his goal in this movie.
