Very nicely explained but there is one more thing in the temple surrounding that is Interpretation Centre where they kept old paintings from the first floor which was removed and arranged on a sheet because below those paintings old Chola paintings were discovered. I will visit that centre next time. Thank you.

Yes. Sometimes direct buses will be available. Sometimes we need to take 2 busses. Ask local people at bus stand if you are confused with names. Most of the names on the bus will be in tamil only.

Pallavas have mix ancestry of cholas and Nagas... None of the pallava rules addresses themselves as Telugu or gave patronage to Telugu ..
