Thank God for My Child

Hello, my name is Loraine "Coach Clari" Collins, I'm a Spiritual Mental Health Coach specializing in Postpartum Depression and the blogger of Clari's Tidbits @claristidbits.com where the tagline is, "Best Practices for Finding Peace and Mental Clarity."
This poem was written more than a decade ago, when my only child was still yet a toddler. Today, she is an amazing 20-year-old young adult studying to impact lives through the field of nursing.
I do not regret my past ...my testimony. It is my story of enduring postpartum depression that fuels my passion to share love and help others. It also, fills me with gratitude when I consider just how close my daughter and I was to a "forever Sleep" (Because I intended to take my small child with me) when God intervened with a persistent phone call. Today, I am an example that troubles, nomatter how overwhelming they may appear, really don't last always.
