And the last time I was at a hotel (2-ish weeks ago) the people at the front desk and the girl from housekeeping (we needed help with something) were definitely the type to think this plushie was adorable, not at all embarrassing.

Vacuums are also something where generally if you ask nicely, they’ll let you use a vacuum. My mom and I went to Corpus Christi when I was competing at Games of Texas, and we went to the beach while we were there. We ended up with sand in our bags and accidentally got sand all on the tile in the doorway to our room because my mom accidentally knocked over her bag and it spilled out sand. So we asked to borrow a vacuum to clean it up and the receptionist at the hotel was super nice about it and didn’t actually even question why we were borrowing a vacuum.
