What makes me really sad is how Vivziepop treated the pilots voice actors. It was her decision to replace them, not the studio, union or guild. Gabriel (Alastor's singing VA) confirmed it was just her who decided. On top of that, she gave them no thanks or goodbye. Didn't even invite them to the premier of the new series. That's not even getting into the fact that Ed (Alastor's talking VA) and Monica (Vaggie's VA) we're afraid they'd get fired from Helluva Boss if they took part in this.

While I think it's shifty she didn't invite them to the premiere let's not blow things out of proportion. First off the Q&A Gabriel did stated Monica CHOOSE NOT TO DO IT, no mention of potential retaliation. Second Edward Bosco also CHOOSE NOT TO DO IT because he thought it would be a conflict of interest since he still works for helluva boss, no mention of retaliation so you are just assuming the worst. Finally, as Gabriel said, it's show business, for the show to succeed, and Viv to see her vision realized she felt she needed a Broadway cast so it is what it is. Being mad and either misrepresenting info or lying is not good for anyone.

This animatic, much like the original had, indeed made me cry once again! It's honestly so surreal how time has passed, it feels like it's been such a long time but strangely fast now Season One has properly released. This video was such a beautiful, and very much perfect tribute to our new and old cast. It feels very fitting since the 100M on the Pilot is so close, so thank you! I've most certainly go back to weeping over this outstanding animation! I do hope the Pilot cast, even if just Black Gryphon, does see this at some point!

I dont know how everyone felt, but it is a bit sad, allegedly though I’ve heard people say Angel’s VA actually would not have been able to do his voice, as it strained his throat, especially to sing. So it unfortunately does make sense he’d get recast. No hate on the new VA’s they all do great work as well! I can appreciate both casts, and only hope no hard feelings were had.

Beautiful work. The pilot cast was the entire reason that i was even still interested with the series. been watching for 5 years since the first animation cleanup (miss ya Kovach!). The entire cast was so full of spirit, had great enthusiasm, and great personalities. Sad they are gone but i got to give credit to the new guys as well. The OG cast deserves far better than Viv kicking them out because they were friends with someone and not telling them she wanted Broadway actors from the start, and not allowing Ed to reprise as Al here or else his role as Striker would be jeopardized. I loved the pilot to pieces. Adore this animatics. Like the series okay. But dang I can't stand Viv being the Mammon-like person that she is.
