No, it’s ironic because a different definition of the word “Fallen” is used for the armor description. Fallen referring to the armor is “captured or defeated”, and it’s ironic because you wouldn’t expect the other definition (moved downward) to apply in this case, but it does because he fell through the floor.

@@usaku9851 He's wearing fallen knight armor, not lothric. Other guy was commenting on the player's use of the lothric straightsword, an objectively generic, commonplace, and meta weapon. Being somewhat better than everything else doesn't make it interesting or not boring, as well. (The fallen knight armor is also pretty commonplace and too edgy to be justifiably worn, but early game you don't have a lot of choice. Still, the guy you replied to was joking about the weapon.)

As much planning as you can make, checking things with your bow, looking round corners and avoiding pots, sometimes DS just lobs a gank that appears from nowhere with archers and poison water that you can only expect when you've had it happen to you once already. The level design relies on it to keep that title of generic 'totally hardest' game on the market And I say this as a souls lover :/

Recently I was having a fight over similar issues in ds2, more specifically that the walking only has 8 directions which sometimes teleport you in the wrong position and gets you killed when you roll or do platforming I was told to get some "get-gud juice"
