Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these videos...I will be sitting my CCNA routing and switching exam in july, and not only have you provided inspiration , but fantastic tips and information also. I have gone into this subject fresh 2 months ago, no real experience in networking, having spent the past 8 years working as a restaurant supervisor but unhappy in that position and struggling to make ends meet.I decided to take a gamble, leave me job and go for what I actually want to do. Your upload ' CCNA changed my life' really motivated me it just really struck home for me in general as I had similar reasons to yours for wanting to get into it. That's a lot! Is that where you were working after you got your CCNA? I purchased 2 CCNA (200-105) books from Amazon a few months ago but still have not read one full page. All I do is watch videos. I NEVER take notes because they are a distraction for me. I just like to sit and store all the info in my head. I've been watching CBT Nuggets, Kevin Wallace, ITProTV, INE, iPexpert (even tho they are no longer in business), Pluralsight, Lynda, Trainsignal, Udemy, Infiniteskills, and it really helps because what one instructor misses, another one will cover. Also it's GREAT to catch multiple point of views. After the videos, I fire up GNS3 if its a routing topic or if its a switch topic, I practice in my home lab. Gonne be taking my 200-105 in a week or 2 so trying to get ready. Also, I cannot recommend Boson Netsim enough. If you master each topic there, you will be a master.

200-125 is the composite but check the publication date. The one in my description is the ICND1 and ICND2.

Cynthia Adams my brother in law is a CCNP. He says the certification will get you interviews, but you need to have actual knowledge of the info to get the job. This is where having a home lab helps out at, but there are virtual labs as well.
