1:29 for Japanese, it is true. 有り難う(arigatou) comes from 有り/有る("ari/aru", to exist/to be) + 難し("katashi", hard/difficult) or 難い(katai) in modern Japanese. It originally meant "hard to be/difficult to exist" which later on is used to address as to how help is hard to exist, so it's used to express thankfulness. There's also a more formal and polite variant called 有り難う御座います(arigatou gozaimasu). In fact, you can add 御座います("gozaimasu", to be) to any informal expression to make it sound more polite like after 御早う("ohayou", good morning) or おめでとう("omedetou", congratulations). Also, Japanese people use the Mandarin Chinese 謝謝(shie shie) but is used for more informal contexts.

In Croatian 🇭🇷😉 we say "hvala" (praise) and in informal or fast conversations "hv" merges to "f" "fala" or rarely "h" drops and then is left "vala". Some times it's added "puno/mnogo/čudo hvala" (many thanks) (čudo also miracle/wonder) or "velika/vela/velka/vilka hvala" (big thanks) (different vowels also can be in different dialects) When you are relieved from some kind of worries or praying then it's "Hvala Bogu" (Prise/Thanks God). (different vowels also can be in different dialects) There are obsolete or rarely used words like "blagodat" (gentle/mild/bless given) or "blagodarje" (gentle/mild/bless gift/given). (different vowels also can be in different dialects) And we use only for fun German "danke" and Italian "gracije" (grazie) because of long century influences from them, some times Spanish "gracijas" (gracias) and ofcourse mostly English "tenks" (thanks), "tnx", "tenkju" (thank you) because of international dominance 😉. For example similar word to Russian "spasiba" is "spas" but it means (salvation from something) and "spasitelj" "spasiteĺ/spasitel/spasitej" (savior). (different vowels also can be in different dialects) 😉

You can say the Korean 感謝 (kám-siā) and the Vietnamese 感恩 (kám-un) in Taigi (Taiwanese) as well. Another frequently used one is 勞力 (lóo-la̍t)。It's be awesome if for Taiwan you also did Hakka and every single Indigenous language. Although I guess if you do the same for all the languages of the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia the video would be an hour long.

Ami.
