Jack you will be missed. The enthusiasm you poured into each and every game can't be and probably won't ever be replaced. In order to be a great broadcaster you have to be a great fan. No one is a greater fan of the Bruins than you showed over 19 yrs. Happy retirement brother Bruin!

I know I'll miss listening to him call games. The Bruins have been lucky to have some of the greatest NHL play by play guys. Fred Cusick and Jack Edwards, two of the greats. Nobody calls games with the emotion and enthusiasm as Jack. He called the game with the excitement it deserves.

A fan since 1968 Bob Wilson on radio listening while the sound faded in and out. Fred Cuscik, John Pierson and Derek taking us on next 30 yr journey. Then Jack and Brick always on point and fun, and "homers" thats what makes it all the more meaningful!!! Good Luck Mr Edwards.

I'm one of the few outside fans that enjoyed Jacks homerisms, I thought it was fun and irritating at the same time and added an extra level of sauce to the Leafs - Bruins rivalry. I hope he enjoys his retirement in good health.

Jack is one of a dying breed. I always appreciated the passion and energy he brought to every game. I always got the sense that he was genuinely excited to call each and every game. He loved the Bruins and hockey in general, and it showed in each call. One of the greats.

I admit that I have been sharply critical of your style at times over the years, but can never question your dedication to the game and calling them with accuracy and class. he did an intervew for some article and said he did loads of tests and he's physically fine and even mentally fine but for some reason his speech was just fucked up really sad to see

Even though his time was up, I'm still so sad to see him go. He was the voice I grew up watching, every goal, every tumbling muffin. I always got chills every time I heard him say "the bruins knock out Montreal" or "Bergerons shot SCORES! HEARTS OF LIONS" I never forget the passion you brought to the game, & I just hope the next guy they bring in has just as much passion for our bruins as you did. Happy retirement Jack.

This man is a staple in the Bruins Club! Jack is funny, witty, and brought it with excitement for his team, and of course for us fans! I have rewatched some of his Jackism moments after crazy goals, wins, fights, hat tricks and silly witty “things that make you go hmm” statements. His genuine and special moments talkin with players individually when milestones were reached and of course, breaking records, setting new records, and the team always rooting for em! Brink is amazing both of them together were! Brink brought the color and genuinely loves Jack. Congrats on a beautiful career! May your health continue to be monitored and god bless you and your family
