Thanks Chris, you are definitely an inspiration. You should share all of your builds in the Star Wars Model Builders group

Thanks for a great 2023 Chris! Room looks awesome, I remember following that Falcon build since day one, and it's still the best I've seen!

Amazing office, on screen (and books) it’s easy lost scale on things, i knew that the snow speeder was a small scale but i realized how small it’s at the end of the video, it’s truly impressive

Thanks for all you do, especially this tour. You've inspired me to get back into modeling. I've done a Bandai X wing, Y Wing and Snow Speeder since I started watching your channel. I'm currently (for the past year or so) attempting the 1/350 scale USS Enterprise Refit. Florida weather and work are not cooperating with me at the moment. Love your lightsaber as well, my son and I built two at Galaxy's Edge ourselves. Keep up the great work.

What a great collection , alot of hard work i bet getting the collection back in order from the disaster a few years back . Based on alot of the comments here its clear how important and popular the Falcon is . its every bodies fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy full stop ..

Thanks for the awesome tour. Can I ask what you used to mount your blasters to the wall? I haven't been able to find anything good for mine yet.

I’m in the market for some big display cabinets. Where did you source yours? Been thinking I’d have to go to a custom trophy case builder for something that large, with sliding doors. Thanks for the tour! That room is beautiful.
@modelsbychris8 ай бұрын
I've put a link for the cabinets in my info section above. I will say, they've gone up quite a bit. When I bought mine 3 years ago they were $850 each. They are now alomst $1200 each. And shipping was around $600 freight for the pair I ordered.

What display cases do you use? For both sides of the room and for the Falcon in the middle.

@@modelsbychris very cool, thanks! Do you have any videos or content on the control panel and lighting of the custom case? That’s very interesting looking.

Where do you build the models?
@modelsbychris8 ай бұрын
I build on the kitchen table, on my cutting mat. Then I can just pick it up and put away. All my paints and stuff are on a rolling unit that I roll away in the closet.

Did you ever get your stolen models back?
@modelsbychris8 ай бұрын
They were never recovered. I had insurance on the unit, so I was able to repurchase the majority of the models. Just had to rebuild them. But it's the home videos and other personal items that were the real loss. I'll never be able to replace those. And they were worth nothing to whoever stole them.
